To use computer fingerprint, users must first register their devices into their accounts. For this section, we will use Device Onboarding by activation code (as that is the most common type of registration) and the application will be Self Service Console.a DevicePass token, to the end-user DualShield account.
In a web browser, navigate to the application URL.

You will then be prompted with a warning that Token is not found. This is perfectly normal. This is because as yet the DevicePass token has not yet been registered to the end-user account.
Type a friendly description eg 'Tom's main PC' and then click on Register
The new DevicePass token will be registered but it will still need to be activated before use...
For this example the DevicePass Policy allows users to request an activation code.
The method of the request depends on the gateway that has been set up, .eg by email or by SMS. In this example, an email gateway has already been set up.
Click on the Envelope icon. (If SMS. has been set up you also will see a phone icon)
Whichever method you use you should get the following message stating that the activation code has been sent successfully
Check the email (or SMS message) for the activation code.
Enter in the Activation code at the prompt..
Click Activate
You will then be prompted once more asking to Verify...
Please click here for DevicePass Activation optionsHit Verify once more and you will be logged into the web application you require.
