Create a RADIUS logon procedure

1. Login to the DualShield Administration Console
2. In the main menu, navigate to "Authentication | Logon Procedures"
3. Click the "+CREATE" button on the toolbar
4. Enter a suitable Name, then set 'Type' as "RADIUS":
   
   
   
   
5. Click "Save"
6. Click the context "..." menu of the newly created Logon Procedure, then select "Logon Steps"
7. In the popup window on the right, click the "+ ADD" button to add an authentication method.
8. Select from the list of authenticators "Out of Band Authentication", then "SAVE" button to confirm.
   (Please note: RD Gateway ONLY supports "Out of Band Authentication".) 
   
   

Create a RADIUS application 

1. In the main menu, navigate to "Authentication | Applications"
2. Click the "+ CREATE" button on the toolbar
3. Enter a suitable 'Name'
4. From the drop-down, select your internal 'Realm'
5. Select the newly created logon procedure
   
   
   
   
6. Click "SAVE" to create the new Application.
7. Click the context "..." menu on the newly created application, then select "Agents"
   
   
   
   
8. From the displayed list of Agents, select the integrated "RADIUS" Server. Then "SAVE".
9. Finally click the Application context "..." menu and select "Self Test" to confirm everything is correctly associated:
   
   
   
   
   

Register Network Policy Server as a Radius Client

1. In the main menu, navigate to "RADIUS | Radius Clients"
2. Click the "+ CREATE" button to create a new Radius Client.
3. Enter a suitable "Name" for the new Radius Client
4. Select the integrated "Radius Server" from the drop-down list.
5. Select the previously created "Application" from the drop-down list.
6. Enter Network Policy Server’s IP in the "IP Address" field
7. Enter the "Share Secret" which matches that saved on the Network Policy Server
8. Specify the appropriate "Authentication Protocols" from the list.
   
   
   
   
9. Click "SAVE" to confirm creation of the new Radius Client.
