1. Log into the VMware Identity Manager Administrator Console
2. Navigate to "Identity & Access Management | Directories", and click "Add Directory" 
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the "Directory Name" and "Bind User Details" 
   
   
   
   
4. Click "Test Connection" to verify the Connection
5. Click "Save"
