Adaptive authentication by geographic location means that MFA can be required or exempted depending on the user's geographic location, from an entire country to a city.

Adaptive authentication by geographic location is implemented by using the Location Filter function in the Logon policy.

A pre-requisite to implementing adaptive authentication by geo location is to have the geo-location data.
